Recently, Missouri State Teachers Association Executive Director, Bruce Moe sent the Missouri State Board of Education a letter outlining MSTA’s position on statewide assessments in the 2020-21 school year. At the 2020 MSTA Assembly of Delegates, members adopted a new MSTA resolution regarding testing during the current pandemic. “MSTA opposes statewide student assessments and punitive measures against school districts, educators, and funding during any pandemic.”
