A New Look for MSTA Newsletters
You might have noticed that your MSTA email newsletters have started looking a little different.
That’s because we’ve partnered with a company called Rasa.io to create a more personalized experience. Their platform uses artificial intelligence to tailor each email to the topics you’re most interested in based on what you’ve read and clicked in the past.
Here’s how it works: MSTA selects a pool of content that’s eligible for inclusion in the newsletter. Rasa’s AI then analyzes your engagement history to decide which articles to highlight for you. Our goal is to provide you with the most relevant and useful information in every newsletter.
This new format still includes important updates and news from MSTA. However, it also allows us to feature high-quality stories from trusted sources in education, like Education Week, Edutopia, The 74, and others. These might include the latest research, policy developments, classroom strategies, or education trends that impact Missouri teachers.
If you regularly click on stories about instructional practices, for example, your future newsletters may include more content in that area. If you skip over national policy news, you’ll likely see less of it.
We’re making this change to reduce the noise in your inbox and bring more value to your membership by focusing on what actually matters to you.
Keep an eye out for the updated newsletters, and let us know what you think. You can send any feedback to communications@msta.org.
