Jefferson County Awards & Scholarships

Student Scholarship

The Jefferson County Region of MSTA will award at least one $500 scholarship to a high school senior or college student of an MSTA member who is employed in Jefferson County. Applications must be received no later than Friday, March 6, 2026. The scholarship committee will only consider applications that are fully completed.

Classroom Project Awards

The Jefferson County Region of the Missouri State Teachers Association is offering up to fifteen $100.00 awards for your ideas for a classroom project that you have been wanting to do, but don't necessarily have the resources for. Past winners have received awards for book sets, digital cameras, art supplies, class pets, and many other classroom items. If you would like to apply, please fill out and submit this form. Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be awarded in April. Submit your application by Friday, March 6, 2026.

Retirees

Jefferson County Region will recognize MSTA members retiring at the end of this school year at the JCR Annual Meeting and Retirement Dinner scheduled for April 14 at the Carriage House at Fox Run near Eureka. At the dinner, retirees are recognized and given an engraved school bell. If you are eligible and want to be recognized, please fill out the information requested on or before Friday, March 6, 2026.
