The Southwest Region TEPS (Teacher Education and Professional Standards) dinner and in-service will be held Monday, September 11th at the Double Tree Hotel, Glendalough Conference Center on North Glenstone, Springfield. Registration begins at 4:30 pm. Buffet dinner will begin at 5:30pm.

Gathering with peers and colleagues for an evening of support and celebration is a great way to begin the school year. The support and understanding of our professional organization and members keeps us strong. Come share your strength! If you haven’t attended TEPS in a while, please consider this a personal invitation. As many things change and we adapt, our love and passion for what we do does not. TEPS is a great way to connect, reconnect and give yourself an evening of self-care. You deserve it! We welcome Beth Houf as our guest speaker. On her Twitter account (@BethHouf), she describes herself as “boy mom, high school principal, passionate leader & learner, forever teacher, co-author #LeadLAP, ‘22 @NASSP National Principal of the Year #ServiceOverSelf. This will be an evening you won’t want to miss. In addition to Beth, we will be awarding our fall classroom grants to five lucky winners. Application for grants can be found here: Southwest Region Grant Applications (msta.org)

Please list all members of your party on the registration form and submit as one registration. Names mailed separately cannot be guaranteed seating with the rest of your group. Tables accommodate 8 with appropriate social distancing. We look forward to seeing each of you! Deadline for TEPS registration is Friday, September 1st.
