Each year, resources are given to CTA Building Representatives and CTA Leaders to display so that the information is visible to members! We have found that bulletin boards are an easy way to make the information presentable. If you don’t already have bulletin board space in your teacher’s lounge or someplace visible, ask your administrator about available space.

A bulletin board!

now what...?

Sometimes, lounge bulletin boards already look amazing. Other bulletin boards might look like they need a facelift from 1993! There is most often colored paper available to cover bulletin boards. More aesthetic materials are available on Amazon... check with your CTA about funding an uplift! The nicer the paper, the less upkeep required. a brand called "Better Than Paper" never fades and still looks amazing after lots of pinning! Here is what Aubry used:

How long will this take?

Aubry did a little "Pre-Prep" by creating a pennant and headers that could be left up all year. This took a few minutes. Then, she set out to see how long it would take to put up a bulletin board in her own office! Here are the results:

The process took Aubry about 15 MINUTES!

She expected it to take longer and was pleasantly surprised. Teachers can fit a lot into 15 minutes, and putting up a bulletin board is no exception. You've got this!
