Dear MSTA Family and Friends,
As my term as MSTA President has come to a close, I want to say thank you to the association and its members who have met so much to me both professionally and personally.
Serving as MSTA President has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the opportunity to serve such a dedicated, passionate group of educators. Every decision, conversation, and challenge was guided by the desire to serve with a servant’s heart and to advocate for the profession we all care so deeply about.
I have been continually inspired by your commitment to students, to one another, and to the future of education. Together, we have navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and strengthened our collective voice. None of this work would’ve been possible without the collaboration, encouragement, and support of our members, officers, staff, and leaders at all levels.
As I step away from this role, I do so with the leadership that follows and hope for the continued strength of MSTA. I will always be proud to be a member and advocate for MSTA and Missouri public education. I look forward to continuing to support the important work that we do.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve, for the friendships formed along the way, and for the shared belief that educators can make a difference!
Wishing you all the BEST!
Amy Kelsey
