MSTA’s Dues Forward program helps strengthen local CTAs by returning a portion of each member’s state dues back to their local chapter. These funds are designed to support your CTA’s activities, recognition efforts, and member engagement throughout the year.
What is a Dues Forward?
To support local CTAs (Community Teachers Associations), a portion of MSTA dues is returned directly to each CTA for its MSTA members.
How much does our CTA receive?
$6 for each Returning Professional Educator
$2 for each Associate Member
How do we receive the funds?
If your CTA has an ACH account on file, funds are automatically deposited.
If not, one check will be sent to the CTA each year.
When will we get the rebate?
CTAs receive their Dues Forward funds once all member accounts have been paid in full. The timing can vary, and funds may be distributed at different points during the year.
What is required to receive Dues Forward?
To qualify, your CTA must have:
A President and Vice President who are MSTA members (submitted by October 1)
CTA bylaws on file with MSTA
All MSTA memberships paid in full
